Who we are

HOOKspace (hookspace.id) is operated by PT. HOOK Karya Raya, Indonesia. For any privacy question, contact us at info@hookspace.id.

Data we collect

• Account data: name, username, email address, and an encrypted password if you register with email.
• Social sign-in data: when you sign in with Google, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, TikTok, or Apple, we receive your account ID on that service, your name, profile photo, and email address (when the service provides it). We never receive your password for those services.
• Profile data you add: display name, photo, banner, bio, social links, WhatsApp number, interests, and city.
• Location: if you choose "use my location", your browser coordinates are used only on your device to find the nearest city. We store the city name only, never your coordinates.
• Activity: follows, saved and watched videos, tickets, bookings, orders, and music submissions you make.
• Optional analytics: with your consent, pages visited and interactions, as described on our Terms & Privacy page.

How we use your data

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To show your public profile and the content you share.
• To process tickets, bookings, orders, and submissions.
• To recommend events and videos, including ones near your city.
• To understand how HOOKspace is used, in aggregate, when you allow analytics.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that run HOOKspace for us (hosting, database, email, and payment processing), with event organizers when you buy a ticket or make a booking for their event, or when required by law.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as transaction records.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile at any time from your account settings, disconnect social sign-in accounts, delete your account yourself, and ask us for a copy of your data. See how to delete your data.

Security

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, sessions use signed cookies, and data is sent over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in details private.

We may update this policy. The date below shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
